The Cheap Kindle Daily read is The voice of waterfalls by Natasha A. Salnikova

The genre is Supernatural Thriller with a 4.6 star rating for only $2.99!

“After being kidnapped and used as a sex-slave, Inga finally manages to escape. She is picked up on the road, and rescued from her captors. But at what cost? Just when you think she is home-free, Inga ends up in another situation even more dangerous than the first. All she wants is to get back home to her worried mother, but first she has to survive. I enjoyed this book very much. Natasha Salnikova has a talent for colorful description. She paints a picture with her words that will transport your imagination through many emotions as Inga struggles to get out of some really horrific situations. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Supernatural thrillers.” –Nanci Rogers (Amazon Review)

Inga manages to escape from a “house of terror” where she was held as a captive along with other girls who were kidnapped. She is chased into the woods and runs onto the road, almost falling under the wheels of an approaching car. She thought, it would be better to die that way than to return to her captors. The driver of the car, to her surprise, saves her. He brings her to his house and introduces her to his family: his mother, his father and his younger sister. He gives Inga a key to a separate room and brings her food. She appreciates his help and calls him her knight from the road. All she needs now is a phone to make a call to her mother. Her savior, Alman, says they don’t have one in the house. He’s also not in a hurry to take her from his house in the woods to the town where she can talk to police. And Inga began to doubt the noble intentions of her savior. After some time she starts to think this house is worse than the one she was imprisoned in before, if that was possible.

The Cheap Kindle Daily read is Enemy in Blue by Derek Blass

The genre is Thriller with a 5 star rating at only 99 Cents!

“For action, body-count and digging into the underworld of police politics – this is really a great read. However, I think the best asset of the novel is the incredible drawing of the antagonist – the evil Sergeant Shaver really shines.
Throughout the novel, this is the guy who drives the story. Shaver is persistent, tough and thoroughly without redemption. He steps off the page and into your life and you just know there’s a real life Shaver out there in the world.
The action is unending – there isn’t much time for relaxing between scenes. Blass keeps you on your toes throughout.
I’m a sucker for cop stories, anyway, but I really enjoyed this book!” –Kathy Lynn Hall (Amazon Review)

About The Author

Life’s never dull. Between writing novels and screenplays, I’m a single parent to my daughter.
As a retired Police Officer and Detective, the only career that is as interesting to me as police work, is being a writer. Both leave you with the feeling that no day is ever the same as the one before, and it’s a good feeling.

I have always had a strong appreciation for putting words to the page and find it extremely fulfilling. In the seventh grade my English teacher pulled me privately to the side in the hallway, and said to me, “You should really consider writing as a career.” At the time I couldn’t see it happening. Who became writers? My parents were not big on having their children follow any of the arts as career paths, so pursuing a dream such as writing, seemed outlandish at the time. Each year my teachers told me the same thing, and each time I ignored the dream, even though it was something that genuinely interested me.

As a kid, walking around with my face in a book was a daily routine. I usually read three or four a week and even wrote and assembled into book form, one of my own stories about a bird named ‘Babbly’ at about age ten.

Along with writing, I run a small publishing company. Sometime soon, we will have training videos available for free on that webpage. I want to teach first time writers how to do what I have learned to do and believe strongly that knowledge should be shared.

My eldest daughter and eldest son attend college. One of my sons currently serves in our military.

We own two very small dogs, about the size of a large hand. I have debated on whether things so small should be classified as dogs. Still, in their earnest attempts in trying to intimidate people with their deafening yapping (which my daughter calls barking), they have proven their loyalty to me. It is impossible not to love them and they are family.

My ancestors on my grandfather’s side were Native Americans; Algonquin and Iroquois from the great Seneca Nation in Upstate New York. I feel a strong connection to the earth and have often wondered if it comes from my Indian blood. I am also of German, English and Irish decent.

Setting a brush to canvas is another craft I play at, with woodworking and landscaping keep me busy as well. People like me will always find themselves doing something; even while sitting; I am not the idle kind, and it’s just one more reason to write.
There will always be one more reason to write, as I am happiest when sharing my thoughts with the page.

The strongest words of advice I can offer someone who has thought of writing a book, but hasn’t yet begun, is ‘just do it!’ The only one who is really stopping you, is you. You don’t have to know it all at the start. You’ll learn more along the way and you’ll be glad you did it. To me, there’s something very freeing about creating, from a blank page, something that I can share with others.

The Cheap Kindle Daily read is The Ninth District by Douglas Dorow

The genre is Thriller with a 4.5 star rating at only 99 Cents!

“The Ninth District is a well-crafted crime thriller skillfully set in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. The author, Douglas Dorow, draws the reader in from the first page with the introduction of the cunning and relentlessly focused villain known to the readers only as “the Governor.” A great aspect of this story is Dorow’s subtle examination of contrast between the lives of the Governor and the book’s main character, FBI agent Jack Miller, who sacrifices his own personal life to hunt down the Governor. The Ninth District is a must read and smart thriller in the mold of Michael Connelly’s Black Echo. A fast paced interesting story – I highly recommend.” -Allen Mitchum (Amazon Review)

The Cheap Kindle Daily read is Vigilante (Barry/McCall Series) by Claude Bouchard

The genre is Thriller with a 5 star rating at only 99 Cents!

“From the opening scene, Claude Bouchard’s Vigilante hits you like a hook to the liver, and addresses the timeless issues of murder, revenge, and the human yearning for justice. Vigilante is the type of book you read after locking the doors and checking the closets. It’s a witty thriller, full of passion and suspense, and as others have said, virtually impossible to put down. Claude Bouchard guides you step by step through a seamy, dangerous world, while never allowing you to lose hope. As others have said, the ending is excellent. But don’t get hung up wondering about it as you read, for Vigilante is a seven-course meal, and each portion is a feast to be savored. Five Stars!” -John Locke “Author of Lethal People” (Amazon Review)
