The Cheap Kindle Daily read is The Ninth District by Douglas Dorow

The genre is Thriller with a 4.5 star rating at only 99 Cents!

“The Ninth District is a well-crafted crime thriller skillfully set in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. The author, Douglas Dorow, draws the reader in from the first page with the introduction of the cunning and relentlessly focused villain known to the readers only as “the Governor.” A great aspect of this story is Dorow’s subtle examination of contrast between the lives of the Governor and the book’s main character, FBI agent Jack Miller, who sacrifices his own personal life to hunt down the Governor. The Ninth District is a must read and smart thriller in the mold of Michael Connelly’s Black Echo. A fast paced interesting story – I highly recommend.” -Allen Mitchum (Amazon Review)

The Cheap Kindle Daily read is Vigilante (Barry/McCall Series) by Claude Bouchard

The genre is Thriller with a 5 star rating at only 99 Cents!

“From the opening scene, Claude Bouchard’s Vigilante hits you like a hook to the liver, and addresses the timeless issues of murder, revenge, and the human yearning for justice. Vigilante is the type of book you read after locking the doors and checking the closets. It’s a witty thriller, full of passion and suspense, and as others have said, virtually impossible to put down. Claude Bouchard guides you step by step through a seamy, dangerous world, while never allowing you to lose hope. As others have said, the ending is excellent. But don’t get hung up wondering about it as you read, for Vigilante is a seven-course meal, and each portion is a feast to be savored. Five Stars!” -John Locke “Author of Lethal People” (Amazon Review)

The Cheap Kindle Daily read is The Geronimo Breach by Russell Blake

The genre is Thriller with a 5 star rating at only 99 Cents!

“I’ve read dozens of adventure and thriller books over the last year from all the big name writers, and I can honestly say Geronimo Breach is by far the best. This book is a blockbuster in the true sense of the word. The plot is completely original, the characters are richly crafted, and the tension just keeps cranking up until the climax, which is a mindblower. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to discover the next big author before anyone else has heard of him – whether I’d know I was reading something destined for the bestseller lists or not. Now I know, and I can recommend Geronimo with complete confidence. The only downside is now I need to find the time to read his other books.” -Tom C (Amazon Review)

_______________________________________________________

The Geronimo Breach is a breakneck-paced thrill ride that pits the world’s most unlikely protagonist against the deadliest adversaries on the planet. From the corridors of Langley to the sweltering jungles of Panama, from the hills of Pakistan to the cocaine trails of Columbia, a clandestine scheme to preserve a terrible secret goes horribly awry, plunging a reluctant hero down a deadly rabbit hole of deceit and betrayal, while raising disturbing questions about the media, the war on terror and its linkage with the war on drugs, and the nature of reality in an age of sound-bites and photo ops.

Albert Ross is a malingering misanthrope – a boozing, chain smoking philanderer; shifty, lazy, cowardly, going to fat, and more prone to doing the wrong thing than any man alive. His purgatorial existence working for the State Department in Panama gets shattered when a routine errand becomes a race against the clock, battling adversaries for whom no price is too high to protect a secret that could topple the world order. As the body count climbs in a struggle where there are no rules, Al must face his own demons, as well as the myriad very real ones intent upon destroying him. The unexpectedly shattering conclusion of this richly drawn thriller is both topical and chillingly plausible, making for a roller-coaster action/adventure without parallel.
