The Cheap Kindle Daily read is Straight To Hell (The Lilith Straight Series) by Michelle Scott

The genre is Urban Fantasy with a 4 star rating at only 99 Cents!

“STRAIGHT TO HELL offers a twist on the standard succubus tale. Going one step further than the “succubus with a heart of gold” idea, Lilith is a grudging succubus with a family. The conflicts involved with balancing the life she wants to protect with her new “job” offer a wealth of material. I really enjoyed the take on succubi as temptresses in multiple ways, not just in sexual situations. The story is engaging, and really drew me in. I’m looking forward to the second in the series!” -Crickett Webber (Amazon Review)

The moment Lilith Straight dies, the Devil appears to claim her soul and cash in on a longtime family curse. Now, Lilith has no choice but to work for him. The job is bad, the boss is worse, and she can’t imagine how she’ll explain her new reincarnation to her eight-year-old daughter. But then an arrogant, yet oh so yummy, incubus shows up…and hell heats up just a little more.

The Cheap Kindle Daily read is The Silence of Trees by Valya Dudycz Lupescu

The genre is Literary Fiction with a 5 star rating at only 99 Cents!

“Ms. Lupescu’s prose truly is the stuff that dreams are made of. The narrative voice of her protagonist Nadya remains strong throughout nearly fifty years of her life. You can almost taste the kolachi and feel the willow switches on your backside on Palm Sunday. The best of literature transports you to places you have never been. While some of the locales of “Silence” are places you may not have wished to be, there’s heart and hope in every page.” -Rebecca Kyle (Amazon Review)

In Chicago’s Ukrainian Village, Nadya Lysenko has built her life on a foundation of secrets. When she was sixteen, Nadya snuck out of her house in Western Ukraine to meet a fortuneteller in the woods. She never expected it to be the last time she would see her family. Decades later, Nadya continues to be haunted by the death of her parents and sisters. The myths and magic of her childhood are still a part of her reality: dreams unite friends across time and space, house spirits misplace keys and glasses, and a fortuneteller’s cards predict the future. Nadya’s beloved dead insist on being heard through dreams and whispers in the night. They want the truth to come out. Nadya needs to face her past and confront the secrets she buried–in The Silence of Trees.

A hilarious collection of stories from the life of the New York Times bestselling author of Look Again

At last, together in one collection, are Lisa Scottoline’s wildly popular Philadelphia Inquirer columns. In her column, Lisa lets her hair down, roots and all, to show the humorous side of life from a woman’s perspective. The Sunday column debuted in 2007 and on the day it started, Lisa wrote, “I write novels, so I usually have 100,000 words to tell a story. In a column there’s only 700 words. I can barely say hello in 700 words. I’m Italian.”  The column gained momentum and popularity. Word of mouth spread, and readers demanded a
collection. Why My Third Husband Will Be a Dog is that collection. Seventy vignettes. Vintage Scottoline.
In this collection, you’ll laugh about:
• Being caught braless in the emergency room
• Betty and Veronica’s Life Lessons for Girls
• A man’s most important body part
• Interrupting as an art form
• A religion men and women can worship
• Real estate ads as porn
• Spanx are public enemy number one
• And so much more about life, love, family, pets, and the pursuit of jeans
that actually fit!
